Furniture design asset produced for Final Fantasy XIV's 'Furnishing Design Contest 2025', it was one of the contest's winners (first slot!).
I've always been a fan of FFXIV's worldbuilding (and their magic jobs), and so I worked to design a prop which fully encorporated existing magical artefacts from the game's world. The grimoires, hat and potion are all referenced from pre-existing game implemented designs, and the crystal ball was featured in the main story many years ago. The cabinet uses a recurring diamond motif, often found on Oasis/Thanalan furniture - the home of Thaumaturgy in the setting's lore.
I realised that I accidentally mislabelled a Japanese item name in one place, but luckily the judges didn't seem to mind!
