This is quite an old concept design that I produced for Final Fantasy XIV Online back in 2019, it was implemented as part of the player housing items with the introductory launch of the Dec 2021 expansion 'Endwalker'.
For this design I basically tried to fill a gap in the market-- by looking at what sorts of tables existed already in-game, and designing something that hadn't yet been done. I studied the game's existing established aesthetics-- the 'glade' style of decor used in its woodland city, Gridania-- and used these patterns and shapes to influence the wood carvings and smaller details of the piece.
The screenshots included are taken from in-game to demonstrate how the asset was used and adapted from the model sheet. (aka they are not my modelling work!) Colours vary because the furnishing item is dyeable.
